Travelworld were doing very well on the Google listings, but then their site seemed to just disappear.. In fact it had not and was there under another domain name, BUT, the site that was in the listings was an old one and thus the listings were all wrong.
IOM to the rescue..
In fact it was IOM, monitoring the organic rankings that first noticed the error, (better still we saw it before the customer) and were thus able to alert the website design company in charge of the website's and domain names about the issue, and better still come up with a solution.
Within just a week, all was back to normal.
It gets even better though, as, as we now had all the "spider trips" going in via just one domain name, the sites overall rankings improved (this down to the "concentration effect" that you get when you stop a site being indexed under lots of different names).
