Google Page Rank Changes & Paid Links

In September it has been reported Google did another one of their jigs, (all a part of the Google dance) and dropped the rankings of many sites that it deemed were selling links in the wrong way.

This resulted in many of them not even being ranked for their own company names. Whilst some may not like this sort of action by Google, they have for some months now been saying that change is on the way in this area, so no one can say that they weren't warned.

More changes have now started creeping through however, with the visible Page Rank of many of these sites that sell links being dropped by Google. Now while the "real" Page Rank may remain the same, the fact is that these sites sell their links on the basis of their page rank, so this change is bound to upset their apple cart a little.

How long will the Page Rank of these sites stay low, and how long will the sites remain delisted?, we'll all have to wait to see when the music stops in this latest jig of the Google Dance.
