So you want more targeted traffic?

Well the first question is, "Do you mean better targeted traffic, i.e. visitors that are more likely to buy, or 'more traffic', as in more visitors overall?"

Improving the Quality of Visitors to Your Site

The first issue is to make sure that you are indeed targeting the right keywords in any Pay Per Click and Search Engine Optimisaton campaigns as unless the correct amount of research was carried out, it is very possible that your are bringing in visitors that are very unlikely to buy from you. Thus the very first thing we do is to make sure that any campaigns are built around the RIGHT set of words.

The next issue is to see where all the visitors are coming from. Are they all from a badly set up PPC campaign, are they coming in from a set of keyword searches that are not really relevant, or are they coming in from 'poor' referring sites (paid affiliates or not).

Armed with this data we can see what patterns are visible, or drag those that are hidden into the light, either way we will be able to see what is going on, and as we know that this traffic is of poor quality (or most of it) we have a starting place from which to improve matters.
